Our roots trace back to the Alutiiq people of Perryville, Alaska, descendants of those who endured the 1912 Novarupta volcanic eruption. This catastrophic event buried entire villages, including Katmai and Douglas, and transformed the landscape forever.
Despite immense challenges, our ancestors rebuilt their lives, establishing a community founded on perseverance and innovation.
