NIDA Administration and Management of Art Competitions
The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is part of the National Institutes of Health and leads the nation in scientific research on drug use and addiction. NIDA’s work supports prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts through evidence-based research and public education.
Three Star Government Solutions (3SGS), in partnership with the University of Southern Maine, provides culturally responsive training and technical assistance (TTA) to Alaska Native communities under a cost-reimbursable subcontract from ACF’s Children’s Bureau. Grounded in Indigenous Ways of Knowing (IWOK), this work strengthens tribal child welfare systems, enhances workforce capacity, and supports the development of prevention and strategic action plans to improve outcomes for Native youth and families.

3SGS leads all aspects of the competitions, from concept development to post-award dissemination. Drawing on strong relationships with Native communities and extensive outreach expertise, the team ensures broad visibility, effective engagement, and smooth execution across all phases. Activities include advertising, logistical coordination, winner selection, and award presentation.
