Sienna Hunter-Cuyjet

Ms. Hunter-Cuyjet is an enrolled member of Shinnecock Nation, currently serving an elected term on the Council of Trustees of the Shinnecock Nation. She brings over 20 years of clinical and program management experience in the behavioral health field, with a strong foundation in culturally competent care and trauma-informed service delivery; curriculum development; and facilitation of trainings. She currently holds her social work license to practice in three states and will be seeking a licensure in a fourth state. She completed a Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University School of Social Welfare, where she served as Vice President of the Graduate Student Government and completed a rigorous curriculum in clinical practice, systems advocacy, and public health. She completed intensive field placements with the Suffolk County Probation Department: Youth Division and Nassau University Medical Center, a designated trauma center for the local area.
