Jaymee Bird-Galloway
Jaymee Bird-Galloway (Ohkay Owingeh) is an advocate with experience supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in tribal communities. Her work centers on cultural wellness, prevention, and systems change—leading and building national technical assistance efforts. She previously served as co-chair of the New Mexico Human Trafficking Tribal Task Force and supported tribal victim services through prevention programming. She also has experience with fostering, parenting wellness, ICWA and child welfare systems. She's interned at Khoanic Broadcast (Native America Calling), NAPT/PBS, and has worked at various tribal government entities. Jaymee is a certified Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid Trainer, and a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher specializing in Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Buti, Sculpt, Hot Core, and Deep. Her trauma-informed practice bridges advocacy, movement, and healing. She holds a BA in Strategic Communication with a minor in World Dance from the University of New Mexico and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA.
