Mental Health & Counseling Services

at Haskell Indian Nations University

Supporting the well-being of HINU students, faculty, and staff.

Mental health and emotional well-being are essential to personal growth, learning, and community connection. At Haskell, we honor the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — by providing services that promote balance and healing.

  • Our professional counselors and social workers are available for individual sessions, group support, and wellness programming designed for students, faculty, and staff.

  • Respect. Balance. Community. Empowerment.

We uphold these values in every service we provide, fostering trust, inclusion, and holistic care.

Our Approach

Our services are free and honor the connection between emotional, physical, spiritual, and academic well-being.

Grounded in the principles of GONA (Gathering of Native Americans), we recognize that wellness looks different for everyone — and we’re here to walk beside you as you find your balance.

Your privacy is protected. All sessions and records follow university policy and professional ethics. Information shared in counseling is strictly confidential.
